Dancing On Ice Betting: Quickenden Slides into Ice Favouritism

Dancing On Ice Betting Preview

Series 10 of Dancing On Ice has yet to return to ITV’s screens and there has already been a withdrawal by an injured celebrity contestant. Former England cricketer, Monty Panesar had to pull out of the show after breaking his ankle during rehearsals.

Fame Academy star Lemar has been chosen as his replacement and he has apparently outshone Monty, going into the Dancing On Ice betting at 10/1 whereas Monty was a 12/1 shot before his withdrawal.

Jake Quickenden has been the punters fancy, the former X Factor and I’m A Celeb star is the new Dancing On Ice betting favourite to win Dancing on Ice 2018 after punters lumped on his 6/1 odds on Wednesday, forcing traders to make him the new front-runner at 4/1.

Next in the Dancing On Ice betting odds is Scottish rugby player Max Evans at 5/1 with Coronation Street’s Brooke Vincent, (aka Sophie Webster), on offer at 11/2.  Track athlete Perri Shakes-Drayton follows at 11/2.

Also taking to the ice in the new year are Love Island winner Kem Cetinay (8/1), Hollyoaks’ Stephanie Waring (10/1), socialite Donna Air (10/1), weatherman Alex Beresford (12/1), Great British Bake Off winner Candice Brown (14/1), Corrie star Antony Cotton (14/1) and Bucks Fizz star Cheryl Baker (25/1).

Aoife Heffron, Spokeswoman for BoyleSports commented “Lemar has replaced the injured Monty Panesar and went straight into the betting with shorter odds of winning Dancing On Ice! Reports suggest Lemar had been training as a backup in case of injury and could be one to watch.”

She added “Already we have a new favourite to win Dancing On Ice [Jake Quickenden] after punters snapped up his 6/1 odds, seeing him overtake previous early favourite Max Evans (5/1) as the 4/1 one to beat.”

If Debbie McGee can win ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ (and she is odds-n favourite) I’d say Cheryl Baker is well over-priced for this
