The Early Bird got 6/1 in Oscar Actress market
Another Irish firm, Boylesports, are reporting plenty of money for Saoirse Ronan in their market on the ‘Best Actress Oscar’ at the Academy Awards. The 23-year-old Irish-American actress plays the lead role in the comedy-drama ‘Lady Bird’ which has received three Oscar nominations.
Aoife Heffron, Spokesperson for BoyleSports commented: “Saoirse Ronan has been backed into 3/1 from 6/1 for the Oscar for Best Actress by punters after she took home her first ever Golden Globe for her role in Lady Bird.
Only one lady stands in her way, 4/6 favourite Frances McDormand, but it is true to say that all of the money is for Ronan to claim the prestigious award.”
Shane Lynch has no chance on Celebrity Big Brother – he could send a glass eye to sleep, such is his personality
Wayne Sleep is not getting much airtime, likewise the early favourite, Maggie. I’m not so convinced the drag artist is over the line just yet. There is a long way to go
Ann Widdlecombe is in to 7/2 now. God knows how, she is even up for eviction this week!
