There’s good and bad news for fans of Davina McCall and her TV series ‘The Million Pound Drop’ which aired on Channel 4 and boasted viewing figures of three million people.
The quiz show, which sees cash drop through a trap door when placed on an incorrect answer, will be back on our screens in 2018. The format will be unchanged but the potential prize has been dropped to £100,000 and, consequently, the show will have a new name when a 60 episode series starts in 2018. So, look out for the ‘£100K Drop’ amongst the TV listings.
Paddy Power Casino features a ‘Cash Drop’ casino game but, remarkably, it is not based on Davina McCall’s TV show. Indeed, Cash Drop is a new type of casino game where you bet on the outcome of 18 spinning hexagons and matching up five will give you a payout!
When you match them up, the hexagons disappear and new hexagons drop into the vacant spaces with new symbol/colour combinations, putting you in a great position to win multiple times!
Deal or No Deal
An online casino game which is identical to its televised counterpart is ‘Deal or No Deal’ which can also be found at Paddy Power Casino.
Just as studio contestants, with the help of Noel Edmonds, tackle the banker in this classic game of wits, you too can use your skill and judgement to make all the right decisions in this popular box opening game featuring potentially huge dividends in relation to your chosen entry fee.
Highlander Cash Prizes at Betvictor
Meanwhile a famous film, Highlander, has recently seen a themed slot launched in its honour and Betvictor Casino are celebrating its arrival with a huge cash giveaway.
For every £25/€30 wagered on the Highlander Slot between now and Christmas you will receive an entry into a prize draw where random winners will collect the following cash prizes:

- Two x £1,750 Cash Prizes
- Three x £880 Cash Prizes
- Six x £440 Cash Prizes
These will be credited to winner’s accounts by December 22nd but, before then, there are other Cash Drop Prizes which will be credited to winners’ accounts as follows:
- Dec 8-14 20 x £45 Cash
- Dec 15-18 15 x £85 Cash
- Dec 19 10 x £175 Cash
- Dec 20 10 x £260 Cash
Wagering requirements
And the best bit… as these are cash prizes they come with absolutely no wagering requirements!
That’s great stuff from BetVictor – so many other sites give you money only to tell you it is not your money until you have gambled with it. Meanwhile, looks like the Davina/Cash Drop crowd have had issues with their insurers. Davina must be well used to that – ‘The Jump’ has been cancelled this year because so many people claimed off C4’s insurance for ‘breakages’.
